Poetry #6 Damaging Demons/2010

Damaging Demons

Hey everyone! I love writing poetry, so I took a quick break to write a piece. This can connect too many things, but I will connect it to Twilight/Edward and his addiction to blood. This goes with my story *All I Wanted Was You, but can also connect to new born vampires. Just to note, this poem was inspired by my amazing boyfriend who is almost 1.5 years sober from drinking alcohol! So this is a shout out to anyone who has ever fought or is fighting an addiction. There is hope! Hope you like it!

*Read my story on my profile!*

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dirty, dangerous, demons

Dance deliriously in your head.

They twist and turn like silky, sneaky snakes,

As soon as you enter your bed

You feel as though you’re in hell

As the fatal, flames lick your sluggish skin.

You try to scream and yell

But no one can hear,

You’re desperate cry for help.

You try to fight the darkness, but you fear

It is too late.

There is nothing your weak, weightless body can do

But wait and wait,

For the dirty, demons to slice your stolid soul

One careful cut at a time,

So you will never be whole.

You try to stand with all you’re might

But your body is an inflated balloon, with nothing left.

Your eyes savagely seek the luminous light

But you have no luck.

Either you take another drink

Or you’re a sitting duck.

The dirty, dangerous, demons will always win

Even if you decide,

To throw the bleeding bottle into the bin.

Their fire will always burn inside you

Whether you stop or give in,

Its feverish flame will always affect everything you do.

So as your battered body begins to shut down

You have to decide,

Do you want to fight or leave your family and town

Forever?

Poetry #5 Unison of the Soul/2007

Unison Of the Soul

Two souls

Embrace,

Underneath the scintillating sky,

Where the stars smile softly,

Beside the melopoeic moon,

And the wind whispers gently,

Through a sea of scarlet trees.

Promising to keep silent.

The two souls

Emerge

As one,

Permitting the crisp air,

To dance around their shimmering skin,

Stripping off their hermetic layers,

As their identities are exposed.

Opening the windows,

To their

Solid souls.

The mask of innocence, slips secretly

Falling to the ground

Allowing their souls to blossom,

Like a wild scarlet rose.

While the night sleeps silently

Two hearts beat together,

As one soul

Emerges,

Underneath the scintillating sky.

Poetry #4 The Scintillating Sin/2007

The Scintillating Sin

No one will HEAR,

The scintillating, scream,

Slicing the Suffocating Saturninity,

Surrounding the Battered and

B r o k e n Body.

No one will SEE.

The loathing, lechery,

Lightly, lingering, On the bloody blanket

Blissfully, Surrounding the

Tattered and To r n Teen.

No one will FEEL.

The prevailing, pain,

Penetrating, through The frigid, Fetus,

Frantically fighting,

Inside the Frail and flimsy female.

And no one will KNOW

That the smiling, saint,

Kissing, her

Crimson cheek Slowly and Secretly,

Is a SINNER!

Poetry #3 Silence of the Snow/ 2007

Silence of the Snow.

Listen my dear friend, to the silence of the snow

And watch the beauty it portrays

As the scintillating sun shines brightly

And the silky snow skates

Quickly to the ground capturing

The world under a spell,

Where pastel princesses prance perfectly

And aspiring angels sing softly

Where heavenly horses can fly

Soaring past the radiant rainbows

Listen my dear friend, to the silence of the world

And watch the beauty it portrays

As your heart fills with love

And for once in your life

You will know what perfection is.

And moments like this are

The reasons for living.
